Brian DostalekBrian Dostalek, LUTCF, FIC
Financial Associate
Janesville, Wisconsin
Southwest Wisconsin Region

For Brian Dostalek, three words inspire him every day: Purpose-Vision-Desire.

While attending the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater, Brian managed two Radio Shack stores. Ready to begin his career, a good friend and financial representative, Terry Niedfelt, connected Brian with the right people to discuss opportunities in financial services. In 1987, Brian took the appropriate exams and began his career that October.

After two decades with Thrivent Financial, Brian continues to stay focused on his purpose of improving the lives of his members. When meeting his clients' needs, Brian keeps in mind the vision of what he would want for his own family. And of course, his desire to help others is a constant.

Brian notes, "Whenever I get into a little rut, I always come back to those three words-purpose, vision and desire." Brian's ability to empathize with his members allows him to develop and implement the best financial strategy. "It's not just about how many people I help but how big of a difference I can make in their lives," according to Brian.

Brian and his wife, Vickie, have two teenage children, Austin and Jordyn. They reside in Milton, Wis. Brian plays semi-professional baseball with a nationwide Men's Adult Baseball League (MABL) in southern Wisconsin. He also enjoys hunting, golfing and spending time with his family.
