Thank you to everyone who submitted original photos or artwork to bring our 2027 calendar theme, “God’s Handiwork,” to life. Inspired by the Greek word poiēma, found in Ephesians 2:10 and Romans 1:20 and meaning “that which has been made,” this theme reflects the truth that creation, and even our own lives, are crafted with beauty, intention and artistry.

For nearly 30 years, Thrivent’s annual calendar has been a meaningful tradition—created by and for our membership. Each year, the featured photos are submitted by Thrivent clients and friends in response to social media posts and invitations in Thrivent Magazine, making the calendar a true reflection of our community.
