What are the features included in the Experian plans?
Experian (1B) Credit Report: Prepare for life's biggest moments by understanding your credit. Your Experian® credit report gives you a detailed look at the information lenders use to make credit decisions and set interest rates. Check your payment history, account balances, and credit score to discover ways to resolve issues and improve your credit.

Tri-Bureau (3B) Credit Monitoring: Gain comprehensive control with daily monitoring of your Experian®, Equifax®, and TransUnion® credit files. You’ll receive alerts of key changes to help you spot signs of potential identity theft sooner, so you take action to protect your future.

CyberAgent Dark Web Monitoring: If your or your child's* personal information is bought or sold on the dark web, thieves can use it to steal your identity. Experian scans thousands of dark web websites and alert you if matches to your personal information are found so that you can respond.

Social Security Trace Monitoring: Identity thieves can use your Social Security Number to get credit, make purchases, and more. Experian will notify you if a new name, nickname, or address becomes linked to your number so you can act sooner.*

Change of Address Monitoring: Unauthorized address changes can be a sign of identity theft. If someone makes a change request with the U.S. Postal Service that matches your personal information, you will receive an alert.

Identity Theft Insurance: Identity theft can be a costly experience – taking time and money to recover. With a no-deductible Identity Theft Insurance policy, you get reimbursed for unexpected out-of-pocket expenses such as legal fees, lost income, fraudulent transactions, and stolen funds.1

Full-Service Identity Restoration: If you become a victim of identity theft, the process to recover can be complicated and time-consuming. Often, it requires assistance to figure out how to recover fully. Full-Service Identity Restoration will get you back on track with support from an expert restoration agent that will walk you through the process of reclaiming what's rightfully yours.*

Lost Wallet Protection: Easily save and store your important payment and identification information in one place, creating a digital wallet. If your actual wallet is lost or stolen, your digital version will help you to cancel and replace everything quickly, saving you time, money, and stress.

Child Monitoring Services: Child monitoring includes up to 10 children under the age of 18. One-time Parent/Legal Guardian verification is required to receive alert details for children.
When does the monitoring become effective?
You have immediate access to your Experian® credit report and ProtectMyID® Protection Center once you enroll in the offer. Credit monitoring will begin within three days of enrollment.
Do I need to be an associate or benefit member of Thrivent to enroll?
Yes, all Thrivent clients with membership age 18 or older are eligible for this membership benefit.
Does Thrivent also get copies of my identity information or my credit report?
No, Thrivent does not receive or have access to any of the personal information that you share with Experian. Your enrollment in Experian's ProtectMyID, ProtectMyID® + Family, or ProtectMyID Select does not allow Thrivent to receive or have access to any of the information that Experian ProtectMyID provides to you through their identity protection products.
Can I enroll if I don't have a computer?

2 VantageScore 3.0, with scores ranging from 300 to 850, is a user-friendly credit score model developed by the three major nationwide credit reporting agencies, Experian®, TransUnion®, and Equifax®. VantageScore 3.0 is used by some but not all lenders. Higher scores represent a greater likelihood that you'll pay back your debts, so you are viewed as being a lower credit risk to lenders. A lower score indicates to lenders that you may be a higher credit risk.

There are three different major credit reporting agencies, Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax that maintain a record of your credit history known as your credit file. Credit scores are based on the information in your credit file at the time it is requested. Your credit file information can vary from agency to agency because some lenders report your credit history to only one or two of the agencies. So, your credit scores can vary if the information they have on file for you is different. Since the information in your file can change over time, your credit scores also may be different from day-to-day. Different credit scoring models can also give a different assessment of the credit risk (risk of default) for the same consumer and same credit file.

There are different credit scoring models which may be used by lenders and insurers. Your lender may not use VantageScore 3.0, so don't be surprised if your lender gives you a score that's different from your VantageScore. (And your VantageScore 3.0 may differ from your score under other types of VantageScores). Just remember that your associated risk level is often the same even if the number is not. For some consumers, however, the risk assessment of VantageScore 3.0 could vary, sometimes.
