Jill Louis has been a member of the Thrivent Board of Directors since 2021. She currently serves on the Audit and Governance committees.
With her deep professional expertise and her passion for service and community, Louis’ insights will guide the board as Thrivent continues to transform and fulfill its promise to clients, helping them achieve financial clarity, enabling lives full of meaning and gratitude.
Louis is currently managing partner at Perkins Coie in Dallas, Texas. She was previously general counsel for a large private equity portfolio company and has spent her career working in both private practice and corporate law.
Outside of work, Louis is actively engaged in her church and community, including serving on the executive committees of the AT&T Performing Arts Center, North Texas Public Broadcasting and the Dallas Assembly. She also served on the board of trustees of Howard University from 2018 to 2021 as an alumni trustee.
She previously served as a regional board member for the Thrivent Member Network–Texas Region, where she was recognized for her dedication and commitment to advancing Thrivent’s mission in the region.
Louis has a bachelor’s degree from Howard University and a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School. She and her family reside in Dallas.
