Regional leadership
The Thrivent Member Network regional board is made up of Thrivent clients with membership. The board provides leadership and strategic insights to help carry out Thrivent's mission on a local level. Clients with membership can have a voice by voting in the elections for the Thrivent Member Network board.
Anderson is hoping to put her expertise to good use as she works to further The Thrivent Way. The certified elder law attorney has been a Thrivent member for 40+ years. "I find it very interesting to step outside of the practice of law and work with people from other professions. I hope to be a good steward of the gifts I have been given."
This 36-year Thrivent member is President/CEO of George & Associates Consulting, and Past President of Concordia College-New York. He looks forward to introducing a diverse nation to the hope and healing found in Christ. "As the largest fraternal organizations in the country, Thrivent is poised to lead the way on how this can be done. I am excited to be a part of an endeavor that seeks to build inclusive communities that come together for the greater good, motivated by our Christian values.
A newer Thrivent member, Glover offers experience building high-performance teams, developing effective strategies, motivating employees, problem-solving, mediating, negotiating, and fostering collaboration. The retired chief administrative officer of The Riverside Church has worked with a variety of nonprofit organizations and "supports extending the Thrivent mission to Episcopal Churches in Rhode Island."
The managing director for HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. has served as a board member of the Lutheran Counseling Center and on the advisory board of the Long Island Thrivent office. He is excited about partnering with other members to further Thrivent's goals. "Serving on the regional board allows me to continue to help strengthen our communities, particularly helping those in need."
A community pharmacist for over 45 years, Brescia has always been active in the lives of his patients. From caring for their needs and providing medical advice, to lending an understanding ear, he’s felt compelled to serve and support those in need.

The Rev. Brenda D. White has been the Pastor of the Allen AME Church in Baltimore, MD since 2006. A Thrivent Member for over a decade, she seeks to learn and pass on best philanthropic practices which empower everyday people to self-advocate for the wellbeing of the communities they call home. As a regional board member, Pastor Brenda hopes to inspire others to value their ideas and implement sustainable solutions for community growth and development.
Our leaders work in the best interest of our membership––not third-party shareholders, like publicly traded companies. As the organization’s supreme governing body, the board focuses on serving the interests of the membership, both now and into the future.
