    2025 Fall Food Shelf Challenge
    Virtual
    With Thanksgiving approaching, your Thrivent Member Network challenges you to make a difference by collecting food for your local food shelf.
    Partner with your church members, Sunday school, youth group, coworkers, neighbors, civic group, school, or any like-hearted people, and your efforts will be doubled by a Generosity Multiplier Gift from the South Dakota Plains Thrivent Member Network. This challenge is open to the first 50 approved Thrivent clients only.

    Here's how it works:
    Be one of the first 50 clients to be approved for the challenge. Collect at least 500 items from October 1 to October 31, 2025, complete the steps below, and your local food shelf will receive $500 from the Thrivent Member Network South Dakota Plains Region!

    To become eligible for the Generosity Multiplier Gift:
    • Collect the food and creatively display it.
    • Create a poster featuring the date, your group name, city, number of food items, and name/address of your selected food shelf.
    • Take a photo of the food and the poster featuring the information above (extra credit if you wear Action Team shirts)!
    • Complete and submit a report by 11/7/2025 and email your photo(s) to us.
    Additional details can be found on the registration link below.
    No products will be sold. One submission per church/group/food shelf and one Generosity Multiplier Gift per submission, up to a maximum of $500. The challenge will provide gifts up to the total of $25,000. Registration will close once 50 different Thrivent members host 50 separate food drives benefiting 50 different food shelves in the South Dakota Plains Region.

      Following a corporate update on Thrivent and highlights of our local impact in 2024, this special event features magician and Christian comedian, John Michael Hinton. Driven by a passion to encourage people to embrace joy and find purpose, he uses the power of illusion, storytelling, and humor in a mix that you won’t soon forget.

      Pop some popcorn and grab the family to enjoy this fun multi-generational pre-recorded event. The theme for his presentation is centered around Matthew 19:26. "With God all things are possible"

      And guess what?! Viewers can join in the fun with John's "Lucky in Love" card trick. Grab and old deck of cards and play along (warning - a few cards will get torn)! ♣️♦️♠️♥️
