Regional leadership
The Thrivent Member Network regional board is made up of Thrivent clients with membership. The board provides leadership and strategic insights to help carry out Thrivent's mission on a local level. Clients with membership can have a voice by voting in the elections for the Thrivent Member Network board.
An attorney at Warner Angle for the past 29 years, Buric is looking forward to sharing his knowledge and experience on the regional board. John has been part of our membership since 2014 and currently serves on the Scottsdale Concert Band Advisory Board and and the Warner Angle Charitable Contributions Committee.
JC is an Assistant Dean and Associate Professor of Leadership at the Fermanian School of Business at Point Loma Nazarene University. He holds multiple degrees and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration. JC serves on multiple community boards, plans to be a stellar brand ambassador for Thrivent, and will utilize his leadership skills to support Thrivent staff and this board.
As a part of our membership since 1992, Paulson currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Lutheran Social Services-Southern California. He is the owner of Paulson and Associates, Inc., and is a professional speaker, author, columnist, coach and trainer. Terry is actively involved in various ministries at New Hope Lutheran Church, including singing on the Sunday Worship Team and leading the men’s group.
Our leaders work in the best interest of our membership––not third-party shareholders, like publicly traded companies. Clients with a benefit membership can vote in the annual election for the Thrivent Board of Directors. As the organization’s supreme governing body, the board focuses on serving the interests of the membership, both now and into the future. The board establishes and promotes Thrivent’s purpose and oversees major business decisions, and works with leadership to assess and manage risk.
